The AENEAS Network: Exchange of
Experience about Mobility of Older People
An interactive session from the first AENEAS training
workshop in Krakow.
|
The AENEAS partners are highly interested
in sharing their experiences with cities and organisations that are
looking for energy-efficient urban mobility solutions (walking,
public transport, cycling, car sharing and public bicycles) for
older people. Besides cities we are also looking for public
transport operators, regional authorities, research institutes and
local initiatives. You could actively join our AENEAS exchange in
different ways. Training workshops
As part of the exchange activities AENEAS was presenting five
well-prepared training sessions for transport planners and other
practitioners working directly with older people on urban transport
issues. These
training workshops were contributing to knowledge transfer among
European cities. Due to the topical character of the subject, AENEAS
evoked a strong interest in mutual exchange of information.
Good practice database
You can directly share your own experiences by entering a case study
in the online Good practice database. The good practice database
already contains several interesting experiences from different
countries on mobility projects for older people. By adding your own
local experience you will make the database even richer in
information and more inviting for others to join as well. |
